MENTORING OUR FUTURE COMMUNITY SENTINELS

ABOUT FRLN

SHAPING THE FUTURE OF COMMUNITY SAFETY

First Responder Liaison Network (FRLN) is an apolitical, impartial, inclusive, innovative and nimbly adaptive IRS 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to guiding youth & young adults into becoming the next generation of first responders and community leaders.

FRLN started in and continues to serve the diverse Puget Sound region communities, focusing on recruitment, retention, and mentorship needs of public safety agencies. We work to ensure those agencies' invaluable future human-capital—these mentored youth—are well prepared to handle the unique professional and personal demands of these sentinel professions.

Fully committed to wholistically addressing the 8 Dimensions of Human Wellness, FRLN is comprised of a host of individuals—firefighters, peace enforcement officers, paramedics, emergency dispatch personnel, military veterans, social workers and counseling psychologists—who are all passionate in mentoring the youth (and their parents/guardians) and young adults of their communities. By partnering with us, we are helping all of them thrive as kinetic servant-leaders creating positive generational change in their communities and personal spheres of influence.

First Responder Liaison Network remains tenaciously committed to being the skilled, nimble, and innovative network able to address modern recruitment, retention and mentorship needs for our Public Safety agencies and their aspiring candidate pools; all within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code.

WHO WE ARE

Experience fueled by passion

Our journey began with a group of dedicated former and active-duty Firefighters, Police Officers, EMS Providers, and 911 Dispatchers. United by our shared vision for a safer future, we formed First Responder Liaison Network (FRLN) – a non-profit organization dedicated to addressing the modern recruitment, retention, and mentorship needs in public safety. With experiences ranging from 5 to over 30 years, our mentors offer deep insight and hands-on knowledge to every student they guide.
